Who we are

At our Haymarket and Parramatta Practices, we have gathered an experienced, professional team of affiliated optometrists to serve you, some of whom have been providing eyecare services at the practices for almost 20 years!

In line with our preventive approach to health care, ahm’s clinicians and educators are directly involved in delivering quality dental and optical services to you. Our Patient Centred Model illustrates the role each staff member plays in this delivery.

Eligible members can make an appointment with any of our optometrists as follows:

We provide a wide range of eyecare services:

• General eye examination, including assessment for spectacles, contact lenses or visual therapy when appropriate.
• Screening for glaucoma using computerised visual field testing.
• Dilated retinal examination to investigate for signs of eye disease, such as diabetic retinopathy, cataract, and macular degeneration.
• Retinal photography available.
• Evaluation of suitability for Laser refractive surgery and co-management with Laser Centres.
• Referral to ophthalmologists when required.
