How do I make a claim?

Making an ahm OSHC claim is easy. Choose from one of four ways detailed below. All claims are paid in Australian dollars.

1. Online

You can claim online for:

  • Visits to your doctor
  • Pharmacy
  • Specialists
  • X-rays
  • Pathology

For all other claims you need to phone or mail the fund. See below for details.

Your benefit will be deposited in your bank account, normally within 24 hours, or we can send you a cheque. You send us your receipts for your claim later. Just nominate your preferred bank account before using this service. There is a limit of $200 for online claims and phone claims.

You need to register for a password before you can make an online claim. Register here.
