At ahm Health Insurance we offer a range of Extras covers to meet your individual needs. We'll help pay for services that help you get healthy and stay healthy. You can receive benefits for services such as alternative therapies, dental, optical and more!
Better yet, ahm believes it’s important that our members get all they’re entitled to, that’s why there are no 2 and 6 month waiting periods on our Extras covers.
Why should I purchase Extras cover?
Extras cover, often called ancillary cover, helps you pay for the everyday costs of staying healthy such as going to the dentist, getting glasses or contacts or even natural therapies like naturopathy or acupuncture. It can also cover health management programs to help you manage health goals like weight loss or quit smoking. These services are usually not covered by Medicare. Extras cover will help pay for these everyday services, making them more affordable.
The higher the level of Extras cover you select, the more Extras you'll be covered for and you'll often get more back when you claim for them. At ahm, we offer higher loyalty limits for some services on Lifestyle, Family and Super Extras covers based on the number of years you've been with us.

+18 Cover
+18 is an option on some covers for families and single parents to keep their children who are single, 18-25 years old, but who aren’t studying full time covered on their own policy.
