At ahm we believe it’s important that our members get all they’re entitled to. That’s why from 6 June 2011 we’ve removed the 2 and 6 months waiting periods from all our Extras covers.
This means ahm members with Extras cover can claim straight away* on benefits such as:

Claims are only payable if your policy is financial on the date of service. If you were serving a 2 or 6 month waiting period on Extras as at 5 June 2011, claims will only be paid for services provided on or after 6 June 2011. If you have a combined policy, please note that these changes only apply to your Extras policy. There have been no changes to any waiting periods you may be serving on your Hospital policy.
